About Me:
I play, produce and promote house music. I started DJing in the mid-90s, but didn't start mixing until 2000. I started writing beats/producing in 1997. I got my first residency mixing house at the Lux in Springfield, MO playing from 10 PM - 3 AM every Thursday for a about a year and a half between 2001 - 2003. I started promoting shows in 2003 through LIFT Wednesday nights at the Boogie (also in Springfield), alongside creator Preston Havens. Through LIFT I became resident pub crawl DJ for the Boogie for almost 2 years. In early 2005 I became a moderator of 417vibe.com - southwest Missouri's electronic music message board. In August of '05, just before the untimely demise of LIFT, I started SUMO Saturdays at Traffic Sushi Bar to promote house music primarily (LIFT was a showcase for all styles of electronic music). SUMO ran for 2 years bringing regional deep house DJs to SW Missouri every Saturday night. I moved back to KC in 2007 and linked up with the guys from Frisky/Deepfix Records guys doing Tuesdays at the Hangout for a few months. After that dissolved I held brief residencies at the Foundry & Re:Verse.
